"Rhode trips are better written than said"

I remember one night when I was about to go home, but didn't.
Instead of taking a left on weary roads, I went straight.
It curved and then it split.
At that split I
then took a left,
I believe the sign said I-95 W - New York.
"That's silly" I thought, I'm in Rhode Island right now.
I shrugged and continued on my way.

I yawned and closed my eyes only for a moment.
It seemed like day, the neon center lighting my car and myself planted squarely in the driver's seat.
My gas tank was at a one quarter when I noticed I was in Times Square.
I pulled over for a moment, got out and said,
"Tonight I was in Times Square," then I got back in and left.

I returned home before morning.
My key didn't work so I entered through the basement window.

Now you're thinking: "This guy is full of shit, he didn't go to New York City in one night, it's just a poem."
Well I'm not here to argue with you, I'm only hear to tell you:
"Who the fuck cares? It's a poem, you believe what you want to believe and from there you can create you're own stories, welcome to creativity."
But for the record,
I did .
